Blogging..

Well.. I thought of posting something on my 'new' life.. the 'new' atmosphere out here but then I guess it would have been too cliched.. So i chucked the whole idea :D

Today, I am going to attend an MA class in Global Business Systems.. Everyone might think that I am too young for it but believe me I am extremely excited!!.. They are going to discuss about blogging.. I did not attend the first lecture because I arrived late in HK but I believe there would be people discussing and debating on the pros and cons of blogging.. Does blogging really have a negative side to it??.. Err.. Can't really comment about it.. DIfferent people.. DIfferent perspectives!!..

I had written this bit for Shetty when she wanted me to write 'what is blogging'.. 'How can people earn from blogging'.. and I had googled the word.. found some coolio stuff and added my own stuff and Voila! I found my new definition of BLOGGING:

Blogging is now the ‘common’ unconventional hobby. People have a varied view of blogging. While some sit on the fence, some find it a sheer waste of time which does nothing but increases your spectacles number and others who believe that a blog is a personal diary... A political soapbox... A domain to display 'hidden talents'... A breaking-news outlet… A collection of links... Your private thoughts... *blah* Before you get confused a blog is merely a tool that lets one do anything from change the world to share the shopping list.. It is an unedited version of yourself where you can comment and communicate with your co-bloggers. You must be wondering about the money bit, right? Gotcha... Well, a genius that google is anyone on blogger can enroll on the Ad-sense and based on the number of hits on the advertisements that google publishes on your blog, you get paid!.. One can earn anything ranging from 100 to 10,000 bucks a month! Talk about effectively utilizing your free time! The best bit is anyone can do it because blogging ain't any rocket science; it’s only about being yourself and putting what you have into it...

Now the reasons that i listed out for why people blog are paltry.. THere may be billions of people blogging for several other reasons (read: spamming, marketing, blah blah!).. They might be some not very kind things on certain blogs as well.. but as long as it helps someone or something I guess people shouldn't have a problem with blogging.. should they?? After all I got the freedom of expression.. innit??
